There's an age 8 and up requirement on them, but I've made Owen sign a contract promising not to cut the dinosaur up with wire snippers and swallow all the magnets.
It is not hard to track Owen, especially when it involves his dinosaurs. I think he loves them enough he would not destroy them unless something really happened to upset him. He is such a great model providing you with materials to write and post about. Of course you are still the creative one that utilizes his own little creations.
