Cue Hallelujah chorus.
He slept through the night last night!!! We put him to bed at 10PM and he didn't wake up until 6:30AM - when our fat cat Greta made an ungraceful dismount from our bed and woke him up. Yes, Owen still sleeps next to our bed. I think it's a combination of convenience and over-attachment (mine) that keeps him there.
I've been told on several occasions that 13 pounds is the magic weight many babies must reach before they begin sleeping all night. So I weighed him this morning and he is just shy of 13 lbs. Was it a strange Leap Day phenomenon or the beginning of something wonderful? I think I'll increase his number of feedings just to be sure.

His lips look rather large in this picture? Does he have Davenport lips?? Like his mommy and aunt!!!
I am glad you are getting sleep now!!
Just a few more days and he will get spoiled even more. He looks so alert in this picture. It is evident he is content and taken care of. May you and Scott continue to get the sleep you need.
Can't wait to see everybody.
All my love, Coach
One question . . . Did you wake up missing him? When you slept through the night your first night I must have stood at your bed and watched you sleep for several hours wondering what was going on. LOL See how fast they grow up? Love you. Great pic.
I know that you were excited! First step to many things to come. He is really growing. Can't wait to see him again.
I love all of you!
He definitely has Davenport lips, but he's also been sticking his tongue out lately. I can't tell for sure if that's what he's doing in the picture.
Of course I jinxed myself by mentioning him sleeping through the night - he hasn't repeated the feat in the 3 days since!
