Four.

Warning!  Bad singing, as usual.  Adjust your volume appropriately, or sing along with me.  Despite its suspicious candy bar appearance, that's just a cereal bar on the plate.

I thought I posted a video like this every year, but here's the only other one I could find from back when he turned two, sans my singing.

Owen had the kind of birthday-related meltdown last night that I thought only middle-aged women suffer.  He said he didn't want today to come.

I want to be three forever, and I don't want to be four 'cause I don't want to grow up and I want to stay just as tall as I am now!

I pointed out that he would get presents and cake and asked him if thinking about the good things made him feel better.

Nothing will make me feel better!  (dramatic pause)

...except maybe some Nutella and toast.

Happy Birthday, Dear Owen.  You humble me and amaze me and really crack me up.  I love you thiiiiiis much!
