Owen trying to help field the ball at the pitcher's mound. He was supposed to be playing right field.
Owen's cheering squad. Thanks for coming Mimi and Granddaddy!

I sure wish we could have seen his first game. Darn you Louisiana and Mississippi for being between us!! Hopefully we will get to see his last game. Love you all!!
Just hope he is old enough to understand why Coach and DD are not there. Up to this point in his life, we have made it to most of his firsts. I went from class to class today to tell all of my students about me and my life to this point. I showed pictures of all my girl and their husbands and Jennifer's boyfriend and of course I showed them Owen. They asked so many questions about him: his age, what grade he is in, where he lives, who takes care of him , etc. He looks like a ball player. In fact, he looks like you did at that age.
I just noticed where he was trying to help field the ball at the pitcher's mound while playing right field. it shows he is paying attention to the game. Right field may be the most difficult position to play because the ball has a different spin on it when it comes that direction and is hard to catch. Managers usually put the player with the best arm in right field and one who has speed.

Wish Abby, Gabe and Owen could play t-ball together. They would have the best cheering squad for sure! Loved the pictures, thanks for sharing them.
