House progress

By the time the painters finished at the end of the week last week, the rains came in, so yesterday was the first time I had I chance to go out and get pictures.  The before is on the left and progress on the right.  Now I'm waiting on a new pendant for over the front door to ship.  I'll have to Frankenstein it a little, but hopefully it turns out looking like this indoor fixture.  And we'll have to call in the cavalry to spiff up the old boxwoods and the rest of the yard before I'm willing to call the makeover done.

We're hosting three different parties here at the end of this month- a shower for Sarah and sweet baby Betsy, a neighborhood Halloween party, and Owen's birthday party.  Tick tock!

Wow!! You really need to go into business designing homes inside and out. Of course you can do that after you help me write my best seller titled, "Don't Give Up Your Power". It will benefit so many people, men and women in every walk of life. Thanks for the picture. We will se it in person in less than a month. Can't wait!!

Thanks Dad! But I did get helpful advice from real pros- our friends the Williams who are both architects. I ran my crazy ideas by them and they helped me figure out how to make it work :)
