Owen turned 5 months old today! The poor little guy celebrated with an unfortunate first...his inaugural fever. He woke up at 3:30 this morning with a temp of 101.1. (Which means I had a "first" today too, and it involved a rectal thermometer.) When his sleep issues stretched into the third week, I decided they weren't going to be easily explained away by a growth spurt. I took him to the pediatrician yesterday and she diagnosed reflux. So we left the doctor's office with two things: a prescription for Zantac and some other kid's germs. I was trying to help him feel better and I got him sick. Argh!

Happy 5 months Owen!!! Poor baby! Sick on his 5 month birthday... Hey so was Karson...actually...that's the day she had her first VCUG and we found she was born with Reflux too...of the kidneys... Owen looks as happy as can be in his picture though...so that's GREAT!! Hopefully the fever won't keep him down! Have a great 5 month birthday Owen!! Give Mom and Dad lots of love!!! They love when you do that!!

Sweet picture! It seems like he has changed his looks again. In a year or two, all of these sleepless nights will seem like a dream. Hang in there!
