Okay, so it's really not school, just Mother's Day Out. But when I was packing his lunch in his brand new lunch box last night it sure felt like I was sending him off to school. He wanted to walk in on his own and carry his own bag, and he didn't even cry when I left. No comment on whether I can claim the same!

My heart just broke! Yikes! Turn around and they are gone. You only have 16 more years before he is off to college. BUT . . . you are doing the right thing. He needs time away from Momma! Develop those social skills. Love you.
:( :( :( This made me so sad! Don't grow up Owen!!!!
This made me sad too.
Awe... My heart broke too...and then I smiled because of the look on his face... So sweet! Did he have fun??
(To this day, I cry every year on the first day of school when I drop Karson off...)
This brought back so many memories of the past for me. I remember so vividly packing all of my girls up and moving you to college knowing it would be the last time you would officially be coming back and calling Crosby home. My heart really did not break, but it ached so much it feels like it did. I got that same feeling looking at Owen. Grandpa Coach
How's our little man this week? Kiss him a bunch for me!! DD
