10...9...8...

Owen has joined the space race.  We spent nearly an hour last night watching YouTube videos of (only successful) launches and landings.  It's not of the actual shuttle, but the end of this one is my favorite:

Whatever you do, don't call a space shuttle an airplane.  A perfectly good playdate went south on Monday when Owen's playmate had the nerve to misidentify spacecraft as aircraft.  Oh, and also don't mention the whole cancellation of NASA's Human Space Flight program.  Let the kid dream a little longer.

This is what we did for an hour or more when you and Scott went to Atlanta. We had a good time. I noticed he had it in his hands in the picture on the first day of school. My sweet boy!!!

Send him to Space Camp! I was always jealous of the kids who won the trip to Space Camp in Alabama on Double Dare!

It almost makes you air sick just to watch it on video. Owen is learning so much at such a young age. You are such a loving mom and do an awesome job of preparing him for the future. Remember, it it is more importnt to teach him how to think than what to think. See you next week, can't wait!!
