Costume progress

I've spent several hours this afternoon with a hacksaw and an exterior lighting globe, and Owen is now one space helmet closer to being an astronaut for Halloween.  It was messy work.

My quick-witted neighbor Nancy accuses me of having delusions of being an HGTV host because I'm always painting/drilling/weeding in my good clothes.  Truth is I'm just too lazy to go upstairs and change. Today was my last day to teach ACT classes for the year- plus it's finally chilly outside, hence the dress and boots.  Looks like a hideous case of dry scalp doesn't it?

Being the good helper, Owen got his play saw and went after the shipping box for the lighting fixture.  Being the bad mother, I let Thomas babysit him while we worked.

We're off to Orlando tomorrow morning.  I hope to be able to post from the iPad like we did when we were in Italy.  But if it's quiet around here, you'll know I didn't have much luck!
