He is too cute with his puppy! Karson had a puppy like that when she was his age...when she got older, she named it Casey...and she still has it!! It's a big yellow dog with a rainbow heart on the butt...
As usual, it seems I am one of the last ones to open the blog and see what you have posted. I don't get on the computer all that often. The idea of the big puppy for a gift was a good one. He will wrestle with the stuffed dog for a long time to come. I could not see the food on his face until I enlarged it after it was mentioned. Thank you for inviting us to Owen's first birthday party. I guess that brings to an end all of the firsts in his first year of life, but it does not stop here. As you start to travel and he gets a little older, things such as first day of school, first car, first date, etc. are all still things to come. I guess I am trying to get him grown up too fast and he is already doing that. There will enough things to keep you busy trying to keep track of all of them. We will see you soon. Tell Scott thanks for putting up with all of us. I know it is a crowd when all of us show up to stay at one time. Enjoy each other and Owen as well. Keep your eyes open for any new firsts or cute things so you can post them and we all can share in his growth together. He is such a happy baby. You and Scott have done such a great job in this area. All my love, Grandpa Coach

What is on his face?
Owen and his P U P P Y! So cute! Wish I was there to enjoy him! I love the everyday Owen! It just makes my day!!!!!!! Thanks!
What's always on his face? Food! I've just about decided that one good face cleaning per day is enough and I don't fight him the rest of the time.
Oh, and he's trying to imitate us when we say "Woof, woof." It comes out more like a grunt, but we know what he means.
