Easter

Friday night:  Dyeing eggs

Owen wanted the eggs to be all shades of blue.  Then the next day he told me blue was his old favorite color.  His new favorite is orange.

My first attempt.  Isn't there some saying about being such a bad cook that you can't even boil an egg?

Saturday:  At GG's house (gets its own post later!)

Sunday:  Dressed up and hunting eggs

Such a gorgeous family. Owen looks so preppy!! Did Owen ever say why he switched colors? As for eggs -- it just happens to the best of cooks.

I love dying Easter eggs, we didn't get to dye any this year. Glad Owen had that fun! Good for you. All of you look really nice in you Easter clothes.
As for the boiled eggs, my Mama told me to time them for 7 minutes after they boil. It always works but I had trouble peeling them without tearing the egg up. A 4 yr old taught me how to peel one....can you believe that? I was 17.
Don't worry about the egg breaking, it could have had a crack in it before you started boiling it.

YAY!!! So happy to wake up to a post! Owen looks so cute in his seersucker shorts and argyle sweater!! I like your dress too! Is that new?

No explanation for the color switch, but he's sticking to it.

Thanks for all your sweet msgs Aunt Pam! I'm about to go over to my e-mail and send you a msg back.

Hey Speck, the dress is about 4 years old, and I tied a really ancient scarf around it. I called it my Hail Mary effort at an Easter ensemble. Both my boys had new stuff to wear though -that's what matters, right?!
